Alexander Rekeda

Alexander Rekeda is an entrepreneur and philanthropist who is involved in a wide variety of charitable and commercial endeavors. In 2022, he helped establish Unity for Freedom, a charitable organization that offers assistance to migrants from Ukraine and Ukraine itself. Because of Rekeda's strategic management, the organization has succeeded in its efforts. This success can be attributed, in part, to the fact that resources are successfully managed and directed to the areas in which they are required the most. Unity for Freedom provides immediate support and preparation for the days after the war to assist Ukrainians in surviving and emerging with the tools necessary to combat the long-term effects of living through armed conflict. This is done to help Ukrainians emerge stronger and better equipped to combat these effects. Alexander is a Canadian citizen who was born in Ukraine. Within a few short months of the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine in February 2022, he realized there had to be a more efficient method to collect and disperse aid to the civilian population of Ukraine. After making contributions to various aid organizations through various channels, he joined forces with a group of friends to establish the Unity for Freedom charity to distribute aid more quickly and at a lower cost than bigger charitable funds. Alexander Rekeda is the organization's creator as well as its executive director. Unity for Freedom is a non-profit organization that responds rapidly to new hotspots and concerns in the Ukrainian crisis while keeping an eye on sustaining resources and long-term needs. The work of Alexander has been highlighted in various publications, including The Huffington Post, The Hill, and Newsweek, amongst others.
